DELHI:Known for bringing the best of infotainment to the world , National Geographic Channel , in association with Medanta Hospital , announced the launch of the 'Emergency Room' series . 

Present at the launch were actor Irfan Khan , Debarpita Bannerjee , Vice President ,Marketing ,National Geographic and FOX International Channels , Dr. Naresh Trehan , Chairman and Managing Director, Medanta and Anil Shukla , Addl. Commissioner of Police : Traffic Police , Delhi .

This series captures the dramatic and heart wrenching episode that takes place within the walls of the hospital. Shot inside the Emergency Room of Medanta , the series showcases real life stories of doctors and hospital staff racing against time , facing high pressure situations and intimidating life and death circumstances . The series goes on air on August 12, every Monday and Tuesday at 10 pm on National Geographic Channel.
