Moreover, just for today, Mi India has a cashback offer on the Mi 4i 16GB not only on Mi India store but also across its online partners including Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.
On the occasion Manu Jain, India Head, Xiaomi said, “The past one year has been a truly exciting journey and we are glad to have come so far in such a short time. We would like to thank all our Mi Fans and the partners who have given us immense love and support, and helped us strengthen our foothold in the Indian market. We will continue to bring more amazing products to India and aim to deliver the best value to both our fans and partners.”
Talking about the Mi 4i, the smartphone has been designed to fit in your hand and comes wrapped in an anti-fingerprint soft touch matte cover. The Mi 4i comes with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD screen with sunlight display. A 3120mAh battery promises to power the ultra-compact phone through 1.5 days of normal usage. The 32GB storage means more to store. The specs sheet includes a 13MP f/2.0 rear snapper and 5MP f/1.8 front-facing camera.
In our Mi4i review, we found, “With the Mi 4i, Xiaomi is offering you a phone that has premium specs, a great display, good camera, good battery life at an affordable price point. There has been no compromise on the design aspect as well and although it is a 5-inch device, you can easily use it single-handedly for most use cases. The camera is one of the best in this price segment.”
Chinese brand Xiaomi made its grand entry into the Indian market last year with the flagship Mi 3. The company has been grabbing eyeballs right from the word go, hitting headlines and even earned some consumer ire initially due to its flash sale model. All in all, it soon became one of the most talked about brands. And all of this it managed by a simple marketing strategy using its social channels and India’s most popular e-commerce site Flipkart. The company soon expanded to other online partners and also its own Mi store. Mi India has grown from one person in the India office to a team of 35 members.
Celebrating one year in India, Mi India has also announced the launch of the Mi Store app, which is now available for download on Google Play.
