Colombian star Shakira, Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana, Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo and a samba school will enthrall the crowd with their musical entertainment at FIFA World Cup`s closing ceremony on Sunday.
Shakira, who is making her third straight World Cup appearance, will sing "La la la (Brazil 2014)" with Brazilian star Carlinhos Brown, FIFA said in a statement earlier.
Santana, Wyclef and Brazilian singer Alexandre Pires will perform the tournament`s official anthem, "Dar Um Jeito" at the legendary Maracana Stadium.
Pires will also perform a medley of local music with Brazilian star Ivete Sangalo. "I`m thrilled to be performing my song `La la la (Brazil 2014)` at the 2014 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony," said Shakira, who had a son last year with Spain defender Gerard Pique.
Four years ago in South Africa, Shakira had them on their feet with Waka Waka and four years earlier in Germany she wowed fans with Hips Don’t Lie.
Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff and FIFA President Sepp Blatter will hand the trophy to the winner of the big final. Also, before the end of the match, former Barcelona skipper Carles Puyol and Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen escort the trophy to the stadium.
A team of 26,000 policemen will make sure there are no security issues in and outside the stadium as well as the city.
Opening Ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup was graced by Pitbul, Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte.
