New Delhi: Welcome to our Live updates from Day 4 of the first Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan being played at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, Khulna.

Over 60 || 272/0 (Iqbal 129; Kayes 91)

One of the best opening stands in long long time. Bangladesh have registered their highest partnership for any wicket. And Imrul Kayes also got his third Test hundred in 20 matches. Bangladesh now trail Pakistan by 23 runs with 10 wickets remaining.

Over 50 || 222/0 (Iqbal 129; Kayes 91)

An opening stand of 222 in 50 overs. Bangladesh are playing ODI here. After Iqbal's hundred, Kayes is also nearing his ton. Bangladesh trail by 74 runs with 10 wickets remaining, with minimum of 17 overs left in the day's play.

Over 40 || 177/0 (Iqbal 102; Kayes 73)

Tamim Iqbal registered his seventh Tests hundred, a record for Bangladesh. Mohammad Ashraful has six.

What a series it;s turning out for the so-called minnows. First, they walloped 1992 World Champions in the limited overs game, then, they are taking the game to their more fancied side.

Probably one of the best moments in Bangladesh's cricket history.

Over 30 || 141/0 (Iqbal 84; Kayes 56)

The brisk start from the Bangladesh openers have converted into a match saving one. Iqbal is inching closer to a certain hundred as his partner Kayes also registered a fifty of his own. Pakistan have utilised five bowlers, but none of them seemed to found the clue as to how to stop this Bangladeshi pair.

Over 20 || 90/0 (Iqbal 64; Kayes 25)

Suddenly, Bangladesh openers have increased the tempo and in the next ten overs, they have scored 54 runs. Certainly confidence talking. In between, the ever impressive Tamim Iqbal has scored his 17th Tests fifty and is well set for a big score. His partner, Imrul Kayes is also looking confident, having scored 25 runs.

Over 10 || 36/0 (Iqbal 28; Kayes 7)

Brilliant start from the Bangladeshi openers. In the first ten overs play, they have stitched a partnership of 36 without taking too many risks. Pakistan are sticking with their fast bowlers.

Pakistan first innings; Bangladesh 332

Over 168.4 || 628 All Out

Bangladesh returned strongly in the match by bowling out Pakistan, but the tourists have already gained more 200+ first innings lead. Pakistan added 91 more runs in the 20 odd overs's play today.

For Bangladesh, Taijul Islam returned with an impressive figure of 46.4-4-163-6.  Mohammad Shahid (1 wicket), Shuvagata Hom (2) and Shakib Al Hasan (1) were other wicket takers.

After gaining a first innings lead of over 202 runs Thursday, Pakistan will surely target some quick runs before putting Bangladesh for a chase. Mohammad Hafeez was the talk of town with his first Tests double-ton. He was ably supported by other Pakistan batsmen.
