NEW DELHI: In a series of tweets, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and journalist Amrita Rai have accepted their relationship.
Rai, who is an anchor with the Rajya Sabha TV, tweeted that she has already filed for divorce with her husband and she plans to marry Digvijaya.
Singh's acknowledgement came a few days after his pictures with Rai were leaked on the internet.
A video featuring the two had also gone viral on Tuesday.
Confirming his relationship in the tweet, Digvijaya condemned encroachment upon their private lives.
Digvijaya, whose wife Asha died in February 2013, has a son and three daughters.
