Union Ministers Pallam Raju, Chiranjeevi, J D Seelam, K S Rao, Panabaka Lakshmi, Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy and Kruparani Killi met to take stock of the situation and decided to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with their demand. Sources said Congress has asked Defence Minister A K Antony and general secretary in charge of Andhra Pradesh Digvijaya Singh to talk to the aggrieved leaders.
"We want a permanent governance structure for Hyderabad," Seelam told The Indian Express.
He said they also want formation of a permanent river water authority to ensure fair sharing of water of Krishna, Godavari rivers before the Telangana formation.
"Let them have Telangana. But the rights on Hyderabad should be for every one. Make it the second capital of India as Ambedkar had suggested," Congress MP Vundavalli Aruna Kumar said.
