Actor Salman Khan, who has been hosting Bigg Boss for four seasons, may produce the next season of the controversial reality TV show.
The buzz emerged after a reported tiff between the show’s current producers and the host channel.
Salman Khan, has drawn flak from fans this season after he lashed out at TV actor Kushal Tandon for being rude to Tanishaa Mukherji in Bigg Boss house. He was also accused of blindly supporting Armaan and Tanisha on the show.
Tweets and comments calling Salman Khan unfair swarmed the internet. In fact, Unfair Salman remained the top trend on Twitter.
The 47-year-old is also said to be miffed with the channel for keeping some issues hidden from him.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been filed against Salman for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
"We registered an FIR on December 13. We will have to investigate the case. We need to question the complainant and gather evidence before proceeding further," said a senior police official when asked whether the actor would be summoned for probe.
