Vin Diesel and Paul Walker starrer "Fast & Furious 7" continues its dream run at the Indian box office. The Hollywood movie has made an amazing ₹81 crore in five days here.

The movie got an earth-shattering opening in India and made record business in its first weekend. It collected ₹70 crore in four days and has retained the momentum on working Monday, 6 April, as it added ₹11 crore to its total collection.

In five days, "Fast and Furious 7" made ₹81 crore, setting a new benchmark for a Hollywood flick in India. This clearly shows the growing market for English films in the country.

Leading trade tracker Taran Adarsh announced, "#FastAndFurious7 passes the 'Monday test' with distinction marks. Thu to Mon ₹ 58 cr. GrossBOC: Thu to Mon ₹ 81 cr. FANTABULOUS!"

On the release day, the movie had raked in ₹16.5 crore and hinted at making it big in the Indian box office. On the second day, the collection almost remained same as "Fast and Furious 7" made ₹16 crore and in the next two days, it added ₹38 crore to end its four-day weekend at ₹70 crore.

It is a landmark achievement for a Hollywood movie in India as "Fast and Furious 7" has broken all previous records. The movie is not showing any sign of slowing down and the ₹100 crore mark in India is not far away.

The surprising part of the success story is the fact the performance of "Fast and Furious 7" is way better than Bollywood films that have been released this year. Even at the global market, the movie has made an earth-shattering business. The total international collection through ticket sales was $391 million till Sunday.
