Mussoorie To Have Free WiFi
One of the most popular and preferred hill stations for North Indians: Mussoorie may become the first hill station in North India to have a free WiFi service. Especially designed for tourists, this WiFi service will be free for first 30 minutes, after which users will need to pay a nominal amount to continue using the service.
Although it is not yet clear, as to which telecom provider will have the contract, but it is clear that the local authorities are considering a private player, ignoring state run BSNL which is the most widely used Telecom Company in the area.

As per reports, WiFi connectivity would be provided in the popular Mall Road area in Mussoorie to start with, wherein all tourists can log onto the Internet, and check out major tourist destinations nearby as well as carry on their regular web-based activities.
