Party sources said Sinha referred to media reports highlighting how the government is conducting its business through the Rajya Sabha but the same has not been possible in the Lok Sabha. "The message going out is that there is a disconnect between the party in both houses," a party source quoted Sinha to have said during the weekly meeting of BJP parliamentary party Tuesday.

Jaitley quickly intervened to dismiss this suggestion from the dais being presided over by LK Advani. "All the issues decided by the party have been raised in the Rajya Sabha," a source quoted Jaitley as saying, to allay apprehensions of disconnect between the two wings of parliamentary party.
