If you thought that celebs are more glamour than soul, their conversations with international yogi and mystic Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev may bring forth a different perspective. Fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, filmmaker Muzaffar Ali, Supreme Court judge Jasti Chelameswar and image guru Dilip Cherian, among others, will be asking the renowned mystic questions this weekend on problems plaguing the Indian society.
'The conversations will revolve around various social issues, such as the in-efficiency of our legal system and how to make it work for the common man, inculcating respect for women among men, providing proper care for the elderly and the impending spiritual revolution behind all these attitudes,' says Kumar Govind of Isha Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Sadhguru.
After travelling to Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai, the, Sadhguru in conversation with celeb, series finally comes to the Capital this weekend. 'Contrary to popular perception, a celeb’s life is not as glamorous as it appears in the papers. It is full of regular challenges and upheavals,' says filmmaker Muzaffar Ali, who will be coordinating a free-for-all session on sufism and yoga on Sunday.
In the session, the audience will also get an opportunity to ask questions and seek answers to spiritual queries from Sadhguru. 'I’ve been practising inner engineering by Isha Foundation and feel much more at peace with myself. No wonder I jumped at the opportunity to converse with Sadhguru and ask him questions,' says fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, who will discuss fashion on the second day of the event, in a session open only to select invitees.
