After adaptations of Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, Marvel is considering an adaptation of Dr. Strange's adventures on the big screen. According to Chud.com, actor, director and screenwriter Justin Theroux could be picked to play the character that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko immortalized in 1963.
Marvel character Dr. Strange is a former talented neurosurgeon who becomes a sorcerer after losing the use of his hands.
Theroux wrote the screenplay for the second installment of Iron Man.
Dr. Strange is part of the next batch of superheroes that the studios want to bring to life on the big screen. Ant Man will also be the subject of a movie in an adaptation set for 2015.
