New Delhi:With the 3D trailer launch of ‘ABCD 2’ (Any Body Can Dance), which took everyone by surprise, came the young and charismatic lead actors of the movie – Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. The duo has been to plenty of places to promote their movie, but Delhi is one place they loved to be in.

Starring in a movie wherein they represent the country, Varun Dhawan feels that it is their duty to do it nicely. The actor, who was last seen in ‘Badlapur’ said: “When Remo D’Souza came to me for the first time with the offer of this movie, he didn’t read a script, instead showed me a video of the ‘Fictitious’ dance group participating in an international dance competition. Apart from seeing all other countries participate, I had the sense of patriotism and pride seeing the Indian group participate on international level.”

“If you are representing your country, it is your duty to do it properly,” added the actor, who will be seen representing an Indian dance group in the film.

When asked about his experience so far during the making of the movie, he said: “We are dancing with some of the finest dancers of India. It was a task for us, but under their guidance, we were able to reach at a higher level, though not at their level. This is the first time that we have attempted for such a movie; no other actor has done this before.”

Shraddha Kapoor, who plays the role of Vinnie, added: “The real actors in the movie are the dancers. Varun and I are lucky to get some space in the film. Actors don’t get a chance in movies like this easily, but Remo gave us a chance.”

This is also the first time that we will see actress Shraddha Kapoor set a foot in the world of dancing. Talking about how shy she had been when it came to dancing, Shraddha said, “Receiving good words for my work will make Remo proud. I was an under confident dancer and danced in places like bathroom, in front of the mirror, in front of parents and friends. I wanted to dance in a film since long, and got the chance to do it in ‘ABCD 2’.

When asked if there was any pressure on them by being the face of a movie’s sequence which was a hit in the country, Varun replied, “Definitely, all actors have a pressure. The entire team is nervous. But there was a star is both, the first and the second part, and that is “Dance”.”

The actors now desperately await the release of ABCD 2 this Friday (June 19), when it will finally hit the theatres. They are more eager for Monday to know about the public review.

Directed by Remo D’Souza, the movie also stars Prabhudheva in a pivotal role.
