From her debut in 2007 with Om Shanti Om to her latest release Chennai Express, this model turned actress has time and again proved her mettle. Deepika's career graph boasts of her being the only actress to cross the Rs. 500 crore mark in a single year. In fact this year, the actress had three big releases till now, namely Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express. She also has another biggie, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela up for release.

Interestingly, with the release of just three films, the actress is expected to aggregate a total of Rs. 500 cr+ becoming the first actress in a calendar year to reach the unheard of mark. If that wasn't enough, with Ram Leela she might clock Rs. 550 cr even Rs. 600 cr.

Making it a first, Deepika surpasses her competitors, Katrina Kaif, who is at distant second with Rs. 319.63 crores in 2012 (Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan) and Kareena Kapoor at third, whose movies collected Rs. 263.15 crores in 2011 (Bodyguard and Ra.One).
