On Sunday night, Salman Khan's sister, Arpita had her sangeet at Galaxy Apartments, her home in Mumbai, and yet another chapter in the saga of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's relationship was added. This time, Salman and Shah Rukh came together to create a picture perfect moment for both Arpita and Bollywood fans.
Salman's brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, shared the photo of the two Khans kissing Arpita and the tweet has already got 744 retweets. The ice age that began in 2008 after Shah Rukh and Salman's infamous fight has been thawing over the years, notably at politician Baba Siddique's iftaar parties. This, however, is the first time that Shah Rukh Khan has attended any event at Salman's house.
Shah Rukh has said he would love to attend Arpita's wedding, which is on 18th November at Falaknuma Palace, in Hyderabad. There will also be a reception in Mumbai on 21 November.
Back in 2008, the two actors had a much-publicised fight at Katrina Kaif's birthday (it was one of the incidents that made Bandra news for an entire week). It took five years and one Baba Siddique to fix things.
Last year, history was made when Salman and Shah Rukh hugged at Siddique's iftaar party. Since then, there hasn't been change in the relationship as far as the cameras can see. The two hugged again at Siddique's iftaar party this year.
This photo, showing SRK as an honorary member of Bhai's family, will no doubt make fans hears flutter. However, the one person who may not be feeling much joy is perhaps Siddique: now that the two Khans have kissed and made up, his iftaar parties will need a new starry attraction.
