OCCASION OF DISTRIBUTION OF IMPROVED TOOL KITS OF ART METALWARE, WOODWARE +CANE & BAMBOO TO HANDICRAFT ARTISANS/CRAFT

New Delhi: Rajiv Gandhi Handicraft Bhawan--National Centre for Design & Product Development ,NCDPD , presents the occasion of distribution of improved tool kits of art metalware , woodware + cane & bamboo to handicraft artisans/crafts . 

Dr. K.S.Rao, Minister of Textiles, Zohra Chatterji, Secretary (Textiles) and Shri S.S. Gupta, Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) were also present during the occasion.

On the occasion, Secretary (Textiles) expressed satisfaction and hoped that every year 10,000 new and improved tool kits would be provided to the artisans . 

The main objective of the occasion was to distribute the new and improved tool kits to the artisans , so that next time whatever the artisans design with their innovative hands , are the best designs all over the world .

Dr. K.S. Rao , Minister Textiles, said that, “ We are all proud to be here with you all today . I have been in parliament for the past 30 years , and now I know that skill training is very important . We will, for sure, every year introduce new 10,000 improved tool kits to the artisans and crafts.
